Modern Hi-Fi: Meet the KEF LSX

Looking for a pair wireless speakers with superb sound, ease-of-use and stylish looks that are all wrapped up in a compact pair of speakers with no clutter? Meet the KEF LSX.

This is a Hi-Fi without all the bits. The KEF LSX speakers are active, so no need for an amplifier. They’re also connected to the internet, so there’s lots of streaming options available.

The KEF Control App gets the LSXs connected to your Wi-Fi in no time and keeps the firmware up to date. Once you’re connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can start enjoying music from music streaming services such as Spotify (using Spotify Connect) and TIDAL. You can enjoy Apple AirPlay 2, opening up lots of streaming options and capabilities. Read more on AirPlay 2 here.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for on Spotify, Tidal and don’t want to use AirPlay or don’t have an iPhone, there’s Bluetooth built-in too, so whatever audio you want to come out of the LSXs, you’ll find a way.

A range of colour options: we love the green.

There’s minimal cables here, just one power cable to each speaker, nothing connecting the two which really helps with placement, you haven’t got to worry about a speaker cable dangling between the two.

If you’re looking for a solution to improve your TV’s sound, you can use the LSX’s optical TOSLINK digital input, making these a solid alternative to a soundbar. There’s also a 3.5mm auxiliary input so you can connect anything with an analogue output, such as a turntable.
